Virtual Outpatient Counseling

Virtual Outpatient (IOP & SOP) Counseling

COVID caused us to make changes in how we deliver treatment. Which allows our clients to attend group and individual counseling from the safety of their home or anywhere they have an internet connection. Including  traveling, vacationing or working out of town.

We know life can get busy, and we often neglect taking care of ourselves. Our online counseling helps fill that void with professional guidance and help.

If you are interested in online counseling at our rehab facilities in the Houston area give us a call today.

Benefits to Virtual Outpatient Counseling:

Safety:  Virtual outpatient is a great option for anyone with compromised immune systems or physical limitations.  Online counseling also benefits anyone with social anxieties, panic disorders or generalized anxiety disorder.

All of our locations are ADA compliant. Our virtual counseling is accessible to those who be homebound or with physical disabilities.

Remote Area Access:  Our virtual counseling is also a great fit for  clients in remote areas without mental health services. Often traveling long distances for in-person treatment can add stress to those already in need of help. As long as there is internet access, we can provide treatment through our online service.

Convenience:  Virtual counseling and in-person counseling can be scheduled together depending on the clients situation. This allows someone to attend in-person and remotely within the same week.

Treatment Required by Probation or Court

Or team can work with attorneys, probation officers, and court systems. Our services are designed to satisfy their requirements, and we also provide counseling and addiction treatment for anyone required to attend a substance abuse program with a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) certification.

Drug Testing & Screening

Types of Drug & Alcohol Screenings Available at BARC

  1. Urine Dip Test with Six Panels. Results are observable with a few minutes of administering the test. The results indicate a presence/absence for THC (Marijuana), OxyContin, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Methamphetamines (Meth), and Opiates.

Urinalysis results include a toxicity report and will indicate the presence of masking agents, dilution, and other impurities that indicate tampering or contamination.
  3. On-Site Breathalyzer Screening is available, which will indicate the presence and concentration of alcohol. Results are immediate.

This Recovery Center is by far the best Recovery place I have ever been, they you about the illness of alcoholism and the solution of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous. As long as your willing, open minded, and honest. You can get what they have of a spiritual awakening/experience. Everyone that works there has been through the house and knows the struggles you are going through and you will be able to relate with you. There is no judgement.

This place is probably the most important place I've ever had the fortune to visit. When I showed up here a year ago, I was bitter, selfish and a shadow of who I thought I was. If you or a loved one needs or wants to make a change, I can't recommend it more. The system they have here and the groups can genuinely help, even if you aren't fully willing, the messages will stick and make a new start possible.

I checked in Bay Area Recovery in May 2023, I went into House 3 for inpatient help with alcohol and drug addiction. What I found at Bay Area is a warm and loving group of people that really care about the clients. It's a family I never knew I had. These people rolled out the red carpet for me and made me feel at home. They showed me how to get sober with the 12-steps of AA and gave me the necessary tools to stay sober, taught me a new way of life. I am eternally grateful to Bay Area Recovery and the staff. If anyone needs help this is the place to be. Everyone at Bay Area has been through this program and completely understands. Thanks for everything.Kyle Johnson
